Die Geschichte der Familie Mauracher ist in diesem Wikipedia-Artikel zusammengefasst. Matthäus Mauracher d. Ä. hieß ursprünglich Mathias wie sein Vater. Er verlegte die von seinem Vater gegründete Werkstatt von Zell am Ziller 1863 nach Salzburg. Sein Sohn Matthäus Mauracher d. J. gründete 1891 eine Zweigstelle in Graz, der Sohn Josef Mauracher 1880 eine Zweigstelle in Hohenbrunn (Gemeinde St. Florian) in Oberösterreich.
